Alabama Chapter #1

It was brought to my attention this morning in a conversation with Trooper Gabriel “Gabe” Peck that our National President, Trooper Derrick G. Davis will be in attendance at the February chapter meeting (2-2-2008) in Mobile.   I was also pleased to hear that troopers from the Greater Atlanta and North Carolina chapters will be in Mobile for this year’s Mardi Gras.

Sorry, a little slow but not too late. “HAPPY MARDI GRAS”. This is the season that made Mobile the Originator of Mardi Gras in the United States. Mobile’s diverse culture and history give Mardi Gras Mobile a blend of French, Spanish, Native American, and African influences. OUT-OF-TOWNERS come expecting to watch a Parade. But before long you can hear them yelling “HEY MISTER THROW ME SOMETHING!”
